Dr. Fisch is a practicing neurologist and sleep medicine specialist who teaches neuroanatomy at Indiana University School of Medicine where he attended medical school. Dr. Fisch received a bachelor of arts in English from the University of Pennsylvania and he completed his Neurology Residency and Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Fisch has taught many groups of neuroscience graduate students, medical students, neurology residents, and internal medicine residents, rehabilitation therapists, and electroneurodiagnostic technicians at different universities with different neuroanatomy interests using the draw it to know it method. For his work in preparing Neuroanatomy: Draw it to Know it, the faculty of the Department of Neurology at Washington University in St. Louis co-awarded Dr. Fisch the 2009 Leonard Berg Prize for Research During Residency.
