Cranial Nerves 9 & 10

Key structures/terms: inferior salivatory nucleus, otic ganglion, the parotid gland, dorsal motor nucleus of the vagus, thoracoabdomen, nucleus ambiguus, throat muscles, carotid body and sinus, spinal trigeminal nucleus, pars caudalis, solitary tract nucleus, superior and inferior sensory ganglia, jugular foramen, post-olivary sulcus, cerebellomedullary cistern, accessory nerve (cranial nerve 11), 12 (the hypoglossal nerve), internal jugular vein, internal carotid artery.
