The Eye - Part 2

Here, we will draw the eye. In part 1, we will draw the outer and middle layers of the eye and in part 2, we will draw the inner layer of the eye: the retina. Key structures/terms: retina, choroid, optic nerve, lamina cribrosa, sclera, central retinal artery and vein, optic cup, optic disc, subarachnoid space, dura mater, optic disc swelling, papilledema, phototransduction, photoreceptor cells: the rods and cones, ganglion cells, bipolar cells, horizontal and amacrine cells, fovea lies in the center of the retina. Draw the center of the fovea, blind spot, inner limiting membrane, nerve fiber layer, ganglion cell layer, inner plexiform layer, inner nuclear layer, outer plexiform layer, outer nuclear layer, outer limiting membrane; photoreceptor cell segment layer, retinal pigmented epithelium, Müller glial cells.
