PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes how Provider, the owner and operator of DRAWITTOKNOWIT.COM (the “Site”), will collect and use your personally identifiable information ("PII"), as well as data that can, under certain circumstances, indirectly lead to PII ("Related Data").  By accessing and using the Site or a service available on the Site, you signify that you do not object to this privacy policy.  If you have any objections to this Privacy Policy, do NOT use the Site or any of the services available on the Site, including, but not limited to, services requiring a subscription.

This Privacy Policy applies to PII and Related Data received by us from: (a) consumers who provide us with information in connection with their subscriptions to services available on the Site; and/or (b) consumers that simply visit our Site. 

A. Collection of Information

When you subscribe to one or more of the services available on DRAWITTOKNOWIT.COM, we collect PII and Related Data from you.  We do not, however, knowingly collect PII from children under the age of thirteen (13).  When you contact the Provider by email, we also collect PII and Related Data from you such as your email address, first name, last name, date/time sent and the contents of your e-mail.  When you simply visit the Site, we automatically collect non-PII such as Internet Protocol addresses and website usage information from you.

B. Cookies and Beacons

Neither cookies nor beacons are utilized by the Site.

C. Third-Party Sites

Provider is not responsible for the privacy practices of websites operated by third parties that are linked to our Site or for the privacy practices of third-party Internet advertising companies. Once you have left our Site by clicking on a link or by clicking on an advertisement, you should check the applicable privacy policy of the third party or advertiser site to determine how they will handle any PII they may collect from you.

D. Use of Information

Your PII may be used by us in the following ways:

  • To enable us to process and fulfill your subscription or other requests.
  • To send you information about your subscription(s).
  • To respond to emails that you may send to Provider and address any issues you identify.
  • To notify you about Provider’s products, services and special offers.  
  • To enhance and better develop the Site’s features, products and services.

Your email address is not collected for commercial marketing purposes and Provider does not sell or distribute your email address for commercial marketing purposes.

E. Sharing of Your Information

Provider will not share your PII or Related Data with any outside individual or entity, except for the following:

1. Service Providers: Provider may use companies to perform services including, without limitation, facilitating some aspects of the Site, subscription requests, sending e-mail to subscribers, auditing and other like activities. These other companies may be supplied with or have access to your PII and Related Data solely for the purpose of providing these services to us or on our behalf.

2. Special Circumstances: There may be instances when we may disclose PII or Related Data without providing you with a choice in order to protect the legal rights of Provider or his employees, agents and contractors; to protect against fraud or for risk management purposes; or to comply with the law or legal process. In addition, if Provider sells the Site or transfers the Site to an entity or individual, Provider may transfer your PII to a third party as part of that transaction.

3. Third-Party Subscriptions: If your subscription is provided in whole or in part by your employer or other third party, we may notify the third party when you access or use your subscription. If you have a student subscription associated with a professor or educational institution, we may notify your professor or institution to confirm your subscription, access or use. When providing these notices, we may reveal limited amounts of your PII, such as your name or email address.

F. Accessing, Correcting or Updating PII

If you have subscribed to one of the services available on the Site, you may review and update the PII that you provided to us when you registered for your subscription(s) by visiting the Customer Service section of the Site.

G. Security

Provider uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, personnel and physical measures to safeguard PII and Related Data in its possession against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure or modification.

H. Data Retention

Your information is retained for as long as necessary to permit Provider to use it for the purposes that have been communicated to you and comply with the applicable law or regulations.
